In line with our Vision of driving Africa's local digital content with our mobile devices, we have developed various applications that will help drive local digital content, and thus create a value chain for our stake holders.
eReader Application
QT Electronics (Pty) Limited has developed its own eReader Application, that is preloaded with all our mobile devices . With the eReader App , students could download their latest lecture material and eBooks directly into their QT Tablet PC this comes with convenience and superior reading experience.
QT Electronics would offer this service free to students for the first year, and subsequently, would be a subscription service, where a token is paid annually to have access to digital version of their lecture materials.
QT Electronics could also assist lecturers with publishing their books in digital format, so that they can sell their books in this digital format. This is faster and cost effective for so many lecturers who could not cover the cost of publishing the print version.
Our eReader App also comes with embedded videos, links to social media sites, and other interactive features. Our subscribers will be able to download from our web portal the digital version of Newspapers & Magazine with all the adverts and embedded videos
Other uses of the eReader App is for
- Cinema Reviews with embedded videos
- Shoppers Guide with the ability for mCommerce with associated MPayment Solution.
- Weekly Law Reports for Lawyers
- Christian eBooks , Dominion Publishers.
Already, our tablets and smart phones already comes with eBible preloaded. We also have a deal with Oasis International in the United States to distribute the digital version of their books with our mobile devices.
QT Communicator
QT Electronics (Pty) Limited has developed its own messaging service platform for its mobile devices, including its smart phones and tablet PCs. This is a messaging service that is subscription based.
Users of our mobile devices can send mms, voice, pictures to people on the network, family & friends who are using the same messaging service. It is going to be available to subscribers using QT Mobile devices.
The monthly subscription would be worked out, though we could offer the first 30days free to users, to drive sales of the mobile devices into the market.
